We're Baaack!

YAY, we're back! It feels so good to be home. Traveling nowadays is a nightmare so I'm glad that part is over. Vegas was AWESOME! Hot though, between 95 and 99 degrees fahrenheit! UGH! I have so much to tell so I'll break it all down for easier reading (hopefully lol)

La Reve - Absolutely stunning and amazing show at the Wynn Hotel!!! I highly recommend it! There are no bad seats as the theater is circular so even a shortie like me could see over everyone else. This was a water show and apparently the same man created it that did the Cirque de Solies (sp?). It was an amazing blend of water and acrobatics. I don't know about you but everything is better with water...remember Survivor Africa? That was the only one not done by water and it flopped in comparison to the others so that's my silly reasoning. This was my first show so I don't have anything to compare it to but I still think it was amazing!

New York New York Hotel - Awesome hotel!!! We had a Marquis Suite which is larger than a regular suite with a huge jacuzzi tub, sofa, and dinette. We got in and the stereo was playing softly and the lights were on, such a nice touch! The staff at the resort were amazing, not one person was snippy or rude. They were all so helpful and funny, really making an effort to make your stay great. I would highly recommend this if you want a nice room to go back to. (The restaurant America in the hotel was very bland but all the other restaurants were pretty good.)

Treasure Island Sirens Free Show - Don't waste your time on this one holy cow! We stood there amongst all the rest of the people in the heat only to see a show that looked like a second rate burlesque show. So cheesy and just plain not worth it even though it's free, we left early.

The Mirage Volcano - this starts at 8 pm and is free too, very cool to see.

Bellagio Fountains - free and very cool to see too.

Mandalay Bay Shark Reef - This place was very cool. Sharks, all kinds of fish, stingrays, jellyfish and crocodiles. Very cool. Definitely worth the $$.

Mirage Secret Garden Dolphin and Tiger Displays - This was cool too, although the dolphins don't do a show per se you can still see them and watch them swim and intercat with eachother and the trainers if it's feeding time etc. Also, the tigers were way cool to see too.

Primm Shopping Outlets - so who doesn't like shopping? This was a short ride and since we were staying in NYNY we got to ride the shuttle free (vs. $15 p/p, you also get this deal if you stay at the MGM too, how cool is that?! If it's free then it was meant to be...a good excuse for shopping!) Our driver was awesome and amazing, he told us about the history of the area and funny stuff. The outlet mall was cool, I got lots there! I bought new sunglasses, a watch and a purse at the Fossil store. And they have an undergarment outlet...hello...bought like 10 b.r.a.s. tee hee. (Good ones are hard to find here.) Old navy was there too. If you love to shop go there!

Hmmm...did I forget anything? We had been there before so this is just the new stuff we did this time. We walked the entire length of the Vegas Boulevard our first morning, leaving me with blisters for the rest of the time. UGH. I looked like a gimp! Ha, ha!

Overall it was a lovely trip...but being home is great!!! :)

Oh yeah, this is the $10 apple we had to try... and yes it was that good!!! Chocloate caramel walnut, YUM!!!

Ok so just a few pictures:
